Accepted Scan File Types

Introduction

To ensure accurate fabrication and smooth workflow, our team can only accept certain types of files for design and modeling. Submitting compatible files reduces errors, speeds up production, and helps us maintain quality outcomes for patients.

Accepted File Types

• 3D Scans – we accept .OBJ and .IMED files
• CAD Models – we accept .STL, .OBJ, and .AOP files

Files We Don’t Accept

• If a submitted file is not compatible, we will reach out on FabOne through the order requesting an acceptable file type before proceeding with fabrication.
